Weekly Photo Challenge – Reflections

The waiting room at the dental surgery is somewhere I reflect at least 4 times a year. Whether there for a ‘check-up’ or visit to the hygienist I often reflect on how I’ve actually been brave enough to come. Memories of dentistry in my early life are not for this post, but they weren’t pleasant. The surgery is housed in a building with many of the original Edwardian features still intact. A recent visit revealed a change-around of furniture and, as I was called quickly for my appointment, this was the only reflection apparent during that time.

  6. I hate going to the dentist. I’m not really sure why, all they’re doing is looking at my teeth. I guess I just freak out at the thought that they’re going to tell me there’s something wrong with my teeth.

  14. I like this. The candles in the corner, the reflection of the small table with a carton of what looks like milk on it and then the stained glass with the leaves. It would definitely make the visit to the dentist a little more peaceful for me. I have spent many long hours in the dentist’s chair. It’s the drilling that unnerves me.
